Breast health is of the essence to women especially with the upsurge in cases of breast cancer. Although breast cancer and other related medical conditions are common, information regarding them is scarce. However, women and other interested parties will benefit from Dr. David Samadi’s new show, Sunday Livestream, especially the episode to be aired on October 15, 2017. The episode, which will stream live on Samaditv.com, will focus exclusively on breast health. In attendance will be Dr. Cynara Coomer, a renowned medical practitioner with expertise on breast health. Dr. Cynara held closely related responsibilities at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City before joining Northwell Health Staten Island University Hospital.
Dr. Cynara’s career, spanning several years, has been dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of malignant and benign tumors and other related medical conditions. The surgeon has earned respect in her field for spearheading efforts related to breast health. She is interested in creating breast cancer awareness, and the invitation to be a guest at Dr. Samadi’s show resonates well with her mission. Dr. Samadi recognizes her as an “esteemed former colleague.’’
Dr. David Samadi who is the serving chairman of Urology and Chief of Robotic Surgery at New York’s Lenox Hill Hospital is passionate about the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer. However, he is also an expert in other urologic diseases such as kidney cancer. He advocates for minimally invasive treatments for prostate cancer, and he is an expert in minimally invasive procedures such as laparoscopic radical prostatectomy.
Dr. Samadi emigrated from Iran to the U.S in 1979 following the Iranian Revolution. While in the U.S, he continued his high school education at Roslyn High School, New York. He then proceeded to join Stony Brook University on a full scholarship where his earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry. Dr. Samadi also attended Stony Brook School of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center, and France’s Henri Mondor Hospital Creteil where he cemented his expertise on diagnosing and treating prostate cancer.
